magnificence

Mountain Man returned home yesterday from two weeks of fieldwork in the Atacama desert, and he brought me back a magnificent jewel: a ball of handspun, naturally dyed alpaca yarn in a luminous grass green. He found it in an artisan's shop in San Pedro de Atacama and carefully transported it home amongst the rock samples and dusty boots.

Now that's love.

what a great gift! "luminous" is the perfect word for that yarn - it's gorgeous! what will you make with it?

The colour is really beautiful, although I don't like green so much, I love the colour of that yarn. What was used to dye the yarn to give it such colour?

That is love! What a wonder of a green color. Do you go by and touch it all the time?
